The Walter Lee Avery Art Gallery is housed within City Hall at 440 Harcourt Avenue, Seaside, CA. City Hall itself is an architectural landmark for Seaside and was designed by the famed architect Edward Durrell Stone, a world known architect who also designed the:

The Walter Lee Avery Art Gallery, extends along the two twelve-foot wide corridors that lead to the Council Chambers located in the center of the building’s main floor. Two large glass enclosed display cases are also made available each month for the artwork of sculptures, glass blowers, and a wide range of crafts.
About Walter Lee Avery
Walter Lee Avery (1924-2000) was a member of the Seaside Art Commission for 30 years. The Gallery was dedicated in his memory in October 2001 on the City of Seaside’s 46th birthday.
